Paradise Developments - Emergency & Municipal Contacts
Emergency & Municipal Contacts

There could be circumstances when the Paradise Developments® Customer Care Team is unavailable to respond to a request for a repair or resolve a warranted emergency item in a timely manner. While these are infrequent, it is important to understand what an "emergency" situation is and what you should do.

The Tarion Warranty Corporation, who backs the warranty on your home, outlines an emergency situation as: total loss of heat between September 15 and May 15; gas leak;* total loss of electricity;* total loss of water supply;* total sewage stoppage;* plumbing leak that requires complete water shut-off; major collapse of any part of the home's exterior or interior structure which renders the home uninhabitable for health or safety reasons; major water penetration on the interior walls or ceiling; large pool of standing water inside the home.

Emergency situations due to the failure of a municipal utility to provide a service are not covered under warranty because they are not within the builder's control.
